On March 27, 2018, the establishment meeting of Tai’an Emergency Medicine Specialty Alliance was held in our hospital. The Alliance is headed by the Emergency Department of our hospital, and participated by the Eighty-eighth Hospital of the PLA, the Tai'an TCM Hospital, and other emergency medical departments of 31 medical institutions in the city. It aims to advance the building of medical associations in the field of emergency medical specialties in our city and jointly build a critical emergency treatment line in our city by further optimizing resource allocation and strengthening cooperation and exchanges. More than 100 experts and scholars from the city’s emergency medicine field attended the meeting.

The meeting was hosted by Shi Jixue, Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine. President Li Changqin delivered welcome remarks. Ni Qingbin, deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Taian Health and Family Planning Commission, Chen Yuguo, vice president of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Afterwards, Ni Qingbin, Chen Yuguo, Li Changqin, and Shi Jixue jointly unveiled the nameplate of Emergency Medicine Alliance.
Prof. Chen Yuguo, Deputy President of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Prof. Zhu Changju, Director of Emergency Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, Prof. Zhang Jianfeng, First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, and Prof. Wang Natural, Emergency Department of Linyi People’s Hospital delivered lectures respectively lecture. Sun Fengwei, deputy director of the Medical Collaboration Department, explained the management of the two-way referral of the medical treatment alliance.
Promoting the building of medical treatment alliance is an important part of deepening medical reform. It is an effective mean for efficiently configuring medical resources and achieving hierarchical diagnosis and treatment. The establishment of Tai'an Emergency Medicine Specialty Alliance will play a leading role to the development of emergency medical science, it will build a high-quality communication and learning platform for emergency medical professionals and actively explore the sharing channels and mechanisms for high-quality medical resources, improve management efficiency, enhance regional medical service capabilities, achieve win-win cooperation and coordinated development, and provide better medical services to the people of the city.
