In order to prepare the Review of the First-class Tertiary Hospitals in Shandong Province, our hospital held a meeting on the afternoon of April 6th. All the members of the leadership team of the hospital, the party branch secretaries, the directors of the clinical and medical technology departments, the head nurses, the heads of the medical teams, and the branch cadres of the logistics departments participated in the meeting which was chaired by Hu Jiangong, deputy secretary of the party committee.
At the meeting, Vice President Yang Xiaowen conveyed the "Review Plan for the First-class Tertiary Hospital of Affiliated Hospital Taishan Medical College " and made clear arrangements for the organization, implementation steps, specific plans, and work requirements for the Review.
President Li Changqin pointed out that all cadres and workers should continue to carry forward the spirit of “Establishment of the First-class Tertiary Hospital,” collect the wisdom of the staff, lift the power of the whole hospital, make concerted efforts to create new achievements, and make unremitting efforts to meet the Review of the First-class Tertiary Hospital with practical actions. He put forward three requirements: First, we should gather consensus, profoundly understand the significance of the Review, strengthen the sense of responsibility and sense of mission, and actively respond to the Review with positive attitudes, effective measures and pragmatic working styles. Second, we should carry forward the key tasks of the Review by strengthening system construction and implementation, promoting continuous quality improvement, and improving our services. Third, the departments should clearify the tasks, set a time table, enhance the sense of urgency and responsibility of all employees, and strengthen supervision and assessment, in order to ensure the outstanding results of the Review.
Secretary of the Party Committee Liu Jianbo emphasized that the all of us must fully understand that the Review is the strategic need of study and implementation of Xi Jinping socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the Party's Nineteenth Congress spirit, and it is the hospital's starting point in the construction of Qilu Medical University and strategic needs for the improvement of the hospital's overall strength. It is an important measure for the improvement of medical quality, services, and satisfaction of people’s needs for a healthy and happy life. All the staff should clarify the tasks, set strict standards, summarize the experience, firmly establish the original mission of serving the people, and pay close attention to the implementation of the works; the party members and cadres must take the lead in all works; we will ensure a successful Review with the combination of the implementation of the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”, the establishment of the Qilu Medical University, and the establishment of Provincial-level Civilized Unit.
Hu Jiangong required all the staff should take the Review as the most important work in 2018, and do all the works with higher orientation, more distant vision, and more positive attitude.
In the end, Yang Xiaowen delievered a training lecture titled "Continuously Promoting Standardization Construction of Hospitals by Reinforcement Training and Hard Working" so that everyone could review and further understand the related contents of hospital standardization construction.
